After 6 hours of trip, i final arrived in India Hyderabad. Its been a relaxing week in Indonesia and seeing my family, i am back with another family called the ISU family. its quite weird as i just meet them 3 weeks ago and its quite nice to meet all my friends in India again. The first ISU person i met is Thomas , he is my room mate who will be sharing my room for the whole week. Thomas is now working for the IAC and he is kind enough to let me to share half of the room with me . The hotel we are staying is called Golkonda. It is one of the nicest hotel i ever stayed. Its has a kick-ass room inside and the service is magnificant . I just love the Hotel there.

The purpose of the event is to attend the IAC one of the biggest space confrence in the world. and in the morning of the confrence, i met another person who is staying there ( Shawna ) she will be presenting our team paper in the confrence and after meeting her i gave her a huge hug as if i never seen her for ages ( gosh its only 3 weeks ).
Arriving at the Confrence, i saw many familiar face ( ive been to IAC 3 times )  and once again i attended the Opening Ceremony ( which is quite a bore to me )  and i guess alot of people share my experiences.

Anyway after the opening ceremony , i met with Dag a good friend of mine who i just meet 2 weeks ago in Strasbourg. He is also presenting a paper there and as a result we hitch up for the rest of the day. After the ceremony there is a special talk by the head of state agency. there is NASA head ( michael griffin ) ESA , JAXA and all the big shot is there. We talk about the future of the future of space exploration ( from the return to the moon ) to advance mission to mars and beyond. It has been an exciting talk by the space agency around the world.

After the talk, the real confrence is finally open and as a result, all of us scattered to our own preffred session. My preffered session is about technology management and of course space pyschology. So i spend the rest of the evening listening to the talk by some of the most expert person in their areas of speciality

In the evening , we were invited by the Indian Space Agency in a feast of Indian dinner

Its been 3 days since i return home to jakarta, however i was already given a project tasks to complete.  I was given a tasks to create a poster for our Team and of course obligatory i step up and create the team project. After the first draft of the poster, i sent to the team about my status progress and my updated work.However, it seems that i left out some of the part of the the project and some of my team members want me to include the missing parts. ( i have problems in fitting all part of the projects and select the most important part of the project ). however, their argument is that they want a project that is interdisciplinary and i am missing some part that makes it interdisciplinary

The good things is that we will be discussing with my team mates on how to improve the posters. It is one more day before the dateline of the poster printing and just hope that the whole project will be a success

I arrived home. After a year of travelling, studying and working. I finally got home from all the travel .  First stop after arrival in Jakarta, my family treat me to eat in the Ritz Carlton Jakarta. Amazing, the food they have is soo much better than european restaurant. The best food ive ever eaten in almost a year. Its good to be back, wish i can rest for longer but i cant. Next week i will have to go to India for IAC to present my paper and poster. i have to create two posters and 1 presentation. Will update the latest on the poster works. but GOOD TO BE HOME

Today is one of the day that u just wish it didnt happen . But it did. I am cathing my flight back home to Jakarta from Strasbourg Via frankfurt at 1530 Hrs today . But the magic of delay never seems to amaze me.

 I was scheduled to

 to take the train schedule at 1053 and arrives at 1306 which gives me ample of time to check in and relax in the airport. ( since my flight is at 1530 hr . i have abt 2.5 hrs )

The Magic Delay 

I was supposed to take 3 trains to get to Airport

1.  Strasbourg to  Offenburg 1053-1122
2. Offenburg  to Mannheim 1130-1213
3. Mannheim to Frankfurt Airport 1235-1306

  However ever single train that i tried to take todaz  is forgodhaven sake late.

 First is the train to Offenburg it supposed to go at 1053 and arrive at 1122 . However

the train Strasbourg to Offenburg train  15 minutes 

as a result missed the 1130 train ( Looked up at Bold missed train )  to Mannheim and decided to take the 1222 Train and should leave at 1222 and arrive at mannheim at 1314.

1. Offenburg to Mannheim 1222-1314
2. Mannheim to Airport 1335-1406

 AGAIN LATE .. this time the bloodz train is  40 minutes late 

I missed the connection at Mannheim ( Look above at bold missed train ) . i arrived at  Mannheim 1350 instead 1314  and have to wait for the next available train which is at 1435

1. Mannheim to Airport 1435-1506

 It is a 2 hour delay and i missed my flight which is at 1530 hrs. So i have reschedule my flight  the next day

 Luckily the person from the airlines  advise me to gain some compensation from the train station which makes me miss my flight. I reschedule the flight ( at first it cost 50 euro to reschedule but it was waived due to my bad luck )

The Fight for Hotel Voucher

 Second. i went down to the Die Bahn station and did a little complain at my situation. First place to complain … Say she cant do anything .. she only can write me a note stating the train is late .. Blame me for not arranging the train earlier and she cant check that the train is late !!  her last word  i cant help you

Then i proceed to the second place at the travel centre in Die Bahn Regional Train .. The guy who serves me is nice that he gives me advise on how to report to the central office. However after a few phonecalls.. he said he cant issue me a voucher for hotel. he adivse me to go to the third place.

Then i proceed to the third place .. The service Point. At first they said its my fault for missing the train and i put my flight too close to the departure date. But after a few check and confirm that i indead missed my flight because of delay legitimately. i GOT IT the HOTEL VOUCHER i will be staying at the Die Bahn Hotel in Frankfurt

 It has been one of those thing that if u dont give up hope and keep your spirit high. you might just get what you want. According to the person in charge . I only have 10 % chance of getting the hotel voucher. But because of persistance i got that 10%. of the chance and now i am staying at this nice hotel instead of the airport floor. Its been an exciting and eventful travel day for me today

Today is the launch for Kaguya ( SELENE ) in JAXA. Launch is successful and SELENE is on the way to the moon. It seems that the whole japan celebrate to the success of this lunar mission. I think this is just one of the few lunar mission,

After SELENE , there will be WINDS and lastly is the satellite i help to integrate ( SDS-1) will be launch . I really hope that by that time. i would be able to stand and watch in live the launch of the satellite
